Our honed granite one-piece hearths are available in a range of pre-made sizes, 50mm high on a riser with a boxed & lipped finish on 3 sides.
Honed granite has a matt finish with a faint speckle running through the stone, colours of honed granite can vary from muted black, to grey, to blue and sometimes green. Granite is an extremely popular choice thanks to its hard-wearing nature and forgiving colour. This style of hearth pairs perfectly with gas or electric fires.
As honed granite is more porous than its polished counter-part extra care should be taken when cleaning, avoid using any oily/waxy substances directly on the stone to prevent staining. We recommend for regular cleaning to wipe with a damp cloth.
