Peppers were invited to the Isle of Wight to see Charnwood's newest Intelligent Stove: The Aire 400

Your home needs an Intelligent Stove.

A bold statement? Absolutely.

But after our latest visit to Charnwood's factory on the Isle of Wight, it's a statement we're more confident in than ever.

Across our region and many London boroughs, there is increasing uncertainty surrounding wood-burning stoves, with ongoing debate about their future and environmental impact.

While none of us can predict exactly what lies ahead, we can offer our customers something that comes remarkably close to future-proofing their new stove investment.

That peace-of-mind is Charnwood's Intelligent Stove range.

Why Is The Intelligent Range Best Suited to Me?

If you live in a Smoke Control Area, wood-burning appliances are subject to stricter regulations and emissions requirements. Charnwood's Intelligent Range has been designed to help your stove perform as closely as possible to the conditions under which it was originally tested and certified.

Put simply, every new stove must meet stringent emissions and particulate standards. In Smoke Control Areas, these requirements are particularly important. While standard Ecodesign stoves are tested in controlled laboratory conditions to achieve these standards, real-life use can vary significantly. Factors such as fuel quality, chimney performance, air supply, and user operation can all affect how efficiently a stove burns.

The Intelligent Range removes much of this uncertainty. By continuously monitoring and adjusting the burn process, it helps replicate optimum test conditions within your home. This maximises efficiency, reduces emissions and particulate output, and gives you greater confidence that your stove is performing at its best.

The reliability and consistency of this technology have already sparked discussion within the industry about whether intelligent combustion systems could become a standard feature in future stove legislation.

With that in mind, why not future-proof your installation today by choosing a stove that's already one step ahead?

How Easy Are They To Use?

Two words: incredibly easy.

While the Intelligent Range may sound highly technical, its greatest strength is its simplicity. The technology works quietly in the background, automatically managing the combustion process to keep your stove operating at peak efficiency.

That means less guesswork for you. There's no need to constantly adjust air controls or worry about achieving the perfect burn. In fact, the stove will even notify you when it's time to refuel.

The Intelligent Range is a great choice for any home, but it's particularly well suited to properties in built-up areas where clean, efficient burning is especially important.

Whether you're a seasoned stove owner, completely new to wood burning, or somewhere in between, an Intelligent Stove makes enjoying a real fire simpler than ever.

What Do Intelligent Stoves Look Like?

The Intelligent Range currently has 5 stoves in the range, compatible with log-stores and 8 colour options, there is sure to be an Intelligent Stove for your home.

Aire 400 - The latest stove to the range, and our personal favourite. Offering a lower profile, wide screen viewing window and 5" flue this stove is incredibly versatile and lends itself well to classic and modern styling.

Aire 500 - Our most popular model, thanks to its large viewing window, 5kW heat out-put and tall contemporary styling, the Aire 500 can be seen working on display at our showroom.

Aire 300 - The small but might Aire 300 is the smallest stove in the range, enabling it to be installed in even the narrowest of openings. It is also compatible with Charnwood's Stove Pod, making it ideal for installation in cabins or garden offices.

Skye E700 - A contemporary & grand stove, the first of the Intelligent Range and a fantastic wood-burner to sit inside a chimney for a classic look, or free-standing in a more modern environment.

Aire 700 - The largest in the range and reserved for those with large spaces looking to make a big impact. With a nominal heat output of 6.6kW, we think the Aire 700 looks best free-standing on a lovely Charnwood log-store.
